Hong Kong (ENI). Lent should be for penitence and fasting, and it should also be a time to live as the poorest people do and be united with them, say Roman Catholic labour activists in Hong Kong. The Catholic Commission for Labour Affairs was launched a "become poor for a week" campaign in Lent, asking those taking part to spend no more than 350 Hong Kong dollar (US$45) during the week from March 25-31, in order to understand how low-income families survive in the city.
